An Art Experience of the Quantum World

N’SO KYOTO will conclude the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) in Münster, Germany, with a concert at Halle Münsterland.

Yannick Paget and his ensemble present a new version of Fundamental Interaction — a symphonic performance featuring a spatialized orchestra of 60 musicians, electronics, four large screens, live video creation, and immersive 3D sound.
A grand finale with a choir of 160 choristers has been specially created for this event.

The piece was acclaimed in Tokyo, Japan:

“I had only seen quantum mechanics in equations, but tonight I felt as though I could feel it — it became real.”

Asahi Shimbun – July 6, 2025

“It felt as if I were floating inside a quantum wave — overwhelmed by the energy of sound itself.”

Newton Press – June 2025

This marks N’SO KYOTO’s first performance in Europe.

Fundamental Interactions explores the four fundamental forces — electromagnetic, strong, weak, and gravitational — that shape and balance the structure of the universe. These forces are responsible for all observable physical phenomena and interactions between particles.

The final movement (V), dedicated to the unification of the fundamental forces, was created especially for the Münster concert to celebrate 100 years of Quantum Physics.
Enhanced by Chris Mosdell’s lyrics, The Quantum Chorus evokes human interaction through a century of research and dreams — a reflection of humanity’s enduring hope for peace for the next 100 years.

The concert will be hosted by Jacob Beautemps, science communicator and creator of the popular YouTube channel BreakingLab, and will feature special guest David Rauterberg from Rudelsingen.
