The United Nations has declared 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ). 

Under the motto “Quantum2025 – 100 Years are Just the Beginning…” the German Physical Society (DPG) is organizing various events across Germany during the Quantum Year. 

On November 15, 2025, the DPG’s closing event for the Quantum Year will feature lectures, hands-on workshops, and an exhibition with prominent representatives from industry and academia. 

N’SO KYOTO will conclude the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) at Halle Münsterland, Münster, with a new version of Fundamental Interaction, a symphonic performance featuring a spatialized orchestra of 53 musicians, electronics, four screens, live video creation, and immersive spatialized sound. A grand finale featuring a choir of 150 choristers is created for this performance. The evening will be hosted by Jakob Beautemps.
