Omote (面) , (surface, exterior, front ) refers to the public face that people know about and see, it refers to what is visible or seems to be happening.
Ura (裏) (bottom, inside, back) refers to the private face that people do not know, the hidden or inner and mysterious part of all beings.
The music and choreography of Omote Ura was designed and written exclusively for a VR format. Through this musical experience mixing traditional dance and contemporary music, we accompany the stroll and wanderings of a traditional Japanese dancer. Omote Ura, the two indissociable sides of her personality respond to each other and interact in this poetic piece. Each one intertwines, under the guidance of each musician in a danced musical dialogue.
